today i got an email from my dad telling me that my grandfather has gotten worse. i couldn't get my dad on the phone before class but when i got home he told me that he isn't going to make it. i'm coming home early tomorrow morning to see him.

when i got home from class tonight, after telling Graeme about the email this afternoon, there was a bottle of wine and a box of cookie dough/brownie ice cream waiting for me that him and Mike had bought.

Graeme also went through the garbage to find my drivers license that i accidently threw out almost three weeks ago. i have a perfect roommate.

i'll be home tomorrow. and will be back on thursday.

... and, OF COURSE, I love to be kept informed about the crazy happenings within Paul David Doucette's life.

And to be told who is the REAL voice of Shredder. How shocking.

distraction distraction boobastion.

Blogs are nerdy and I like them.

I like being able to know that Sarah got into school and a horny cat somehow made its way into Darcy's home. I also like to know that Jillian has creepy dreams and I can see pretty pictures of Winnie.

They are also a perfect distraction for when you have to stay inside all day writing a paper in your pjs while injesting as much coffee as you possibly can before your stomach cracks from the acid.

Sigmar Polke & my new roomie.

Measuring Clothes (1994)

I Don't Really Think About Anything Too Much (2002)

Table Turning (1981)

and
Raised Chair with Geese (1988)

Papppppppier. I know there are a couple of people that I said I would call, and keep saying that I will call. But I've been spending my time writing (or preparing to write) a paper on Sigmar Polke's Raised Chair with Geese, which I choose randomly from my art history text. After reading how crazy he is I've really grown to like him.

I've also been spending time with my new roommate Graeme (on the left):

In real life he doesn't look that scary. Please don't ever tell him I posted a picture of him on the internet. Or Mike either.

He moved in on Sunday, the night I found out my Grampy was really sick. It was kind of awkward because I was so upset, but he was nice to me and distracted me with a movie. We've spent a lot of time watching tv and movies, and drinking and making food. He makes me laugh. He also has a great film collection and is going to teach me to like horror movies. Maybe I'll finally be able to fall asleep with the light off after I watch one.

My grampy is doing better. He is still in the hospital but is pretty alert and was sitting up yesterday. I found out yesterday that my brother Mike was home to visit him. My parents told me that if he gets worse again they will fly me home to see him. I hope that doesn't have to happen.

Alright. I've wasted enough time distracting myself with pictures. This paper is due at 6 and I'm not even close to being done.

Hopefully this weekend I'll finally be able to talk to everyone that I've been meaning to talk to. Sarah? Kate? Jillian? When would be good times to call this weekend?

Sarah - I really want to talk to you about getting into to school! That's really awesome. I hope you got my message yesterday.

Aiight, WORD!

Spring Break!

I forgot to invite you to Montreal for Spring Break. I talked to Sarah and she said her and Krista can probably come! Yeayea. I hope you can.

My spring break is from the 17th to the 27th, but even if your spring break is at a different time (Jillian?) come whenever you can.

It will be fun, and probably cold. But more fun than cold.

Maybe you'll find your dream date.

a beauty room.

Back in Montreal Montreal Mmmmmmmontreal in my new huge gigantic room!

It's not as dark as it looks, its only because of my beautiful window.
Do you even want to see these?

Krista, everything nice in my room is from you...the painting, the pictures, and the nice calender you gave me for Christmas. You always buy the best pressies.

I bought sheets that were on sale from Urban Outfitters for curtains. They have horseshoes on them. I'm so proud of them because I don't have a lot of $$$ and they were real cheap. Cheaper than buying fabric.

Adriann moved out on Tuesday. Her last day we went shopping (of course we didn't buy anything) and then I walked her to the train station. She's moving to Waterloo to be with her boyfriend. She doesn't know anyone there so I'm sure I'll talk to her often.

Graeme drove his stuff to Montreal on Friday with his friend Paul. He moves in for good on Wednesday. It's going to be great. He is fun and we're are going to do fun house activities, like house crafts in the craft room (which is also my room):

We might make a cross-stitch together. And some collages. I want to make a cross-stitch with bling in it, right after I make my mittens with $ on them.

Graeme also brought some awesome stuff to put up on our walls. Like a framed picture of Michael Jackson. And a print of Tupac he bought in Jamaica over Christmas.

2006 is going to be a good year.

Happy new year biatches.

I know blog posts are only good when they're funny, but happy new years, bitches. Here are some blurry pictures in case you're lazy like me and don't feel like reading anything...

I got a digi for Christmas. I guess if you hung out with me on New Years you would know that already because I probably had my camera obnoxiously in your face. Oh well. You were drunk anyway. So, I can finally show you pictures where I live and all that shit when I go back to Montreal after two sleeps.

I love that picture of Krista givin er. And of the cooler nocturnal cousin. I also love how Sarah is always blurry in pictures cause she moves too much.

Aiiight. So two more sleeps in the nice guest bed. Not enough time. Before New Years time was dragging on. But I didn't see Krista enough. And now Kate M and Mark are back in town too.

I apologized to my parents this morning for how cranky I've been over the break. They just laughed and made some joke about how they hope I'm not like that with my friends. I can't say that I'm not. This break I've felt so argumentative, arguing about shit just cause I could. Sorrrry. I swear I don't care about Arthur Golden.

So, Karoke on Tuesday? Breakfast on Wednesday? More OC watching and trips to the D-town Starbucks? Any sleepovers?

Sarah, I wish I could post some pictures from Karoke at Monte's the other night but they're too dark and mysterious. Tuesday. Hopefully our new friends will be there. And we won't get hit with a club.
